Winged Pond Dwellers

This was a fun drawing on a handmade journal.
A delightful pond faery is chatting with her winged frog friend.
Faeries are so beloved to me, and I love frogs! I have a small pond at home where a lovely frog lives.
I love to think that he talks with the beautiful faries who live in my garden.
I made this journal with different types of watercolour paper in a variation of sizes, shapes, textures and weights.
These particular pages are on smooth (hot pressed) Fabriano paper, and a double length 2fold open page spread.
The drawing was painted with watercolour Aquamarkers and the shadows and details were done in color pencils.
